The best Easter is when the family is together. The house smells of vanilla, cinnamon, freshly baked Easter cake. There are Easter eggs on the table - I always like to paint them in natural colors: beets, onions, turmeric.
I love when the table is set simply, but with taste - an embroidered towel, a candle, a willow branch. On this day, I don't want any fuss. I just want to sit by the window, drink tea and watch everything blossom outside. The best gift for Easter is a calm conversation with those you love. And also - a sincere "Christ is Risen!" that unites. I never treat this holiday formally. For me, it is like a hug, like an opportunity to be closer.
This is the day when the heart believes in goodness again.
