Why are we all still searching for happiness instead of fulfillment.

Personally, I've always wondered why we adults can't stop chasing mythical happiness. It's like the search for a unicorn: at some point everyone thinks that here it is - happiness, and everything will be perfect. And then, after a couple of weeks, you wake up again and realize that something is wrong. And again you run like a new toy. But where is it? And why do we keep looking for it?

With satisfaction, it's much simpler. What's the difference? Happiness is an abstract ideal, an eternal process that you strive for. It's like it's supposed to be grandiose, but in reality it's unclear what's behind it. Satisfaction, on the other hand, is concrete. What you get here and now. Not in a month or after all your problems are solved.

Why do we persist in chasing the unattainable? Every day we promise ourselves that when the goal is reached, the ideal will come. Why waste time on abstractions when you can focus on the small joys available today? Satisfaction isn't about great victories. It's about enjoying the process and not waiting for a moment that may not be there.

Look at those who started small - they experience almost no emptiness. Unlike those who keep believing it will be better later. They have learned to enjoy the present moment rather than the elusive ideal.

Think about it: which of us is truly happy? The one who is constantly searching, or the one who knows how to live in the here and now and appreciate the small victories? Could life be simpler than an endless chase after the unattainable?
