I wake up with the first rays of the sun — not because of the trendy "early rise challenge", but because cows, chickens, cucumbers and tractors have no days off. My life is full of simple but honest things: the smell of freshly cut grass, hands in the soil, the first shoots after planting, the rain that you wait for as salvation, and silent happiness when the harvest is successful.
Farming is not just a job. It's a way of life. It's an inner philosophy.
But, oddly enough, society still looks at farmers as people "from the past", hay in their teeth and always in dirty boots. Like, simple, unglamorous, uninteresting. But it's the opposite.
We are those who feed the world.
We are the ones without whom not a single morning with a cup of coffee, not a single lunch, not a single candlelit dinner is impossible.
We don’t just plant potatoes — we plan, we tend, we anticipate, we fight the vagaries of the weather and the market. We work at the intersection of biology, engineering, logistics and, frankly, a crazy belief in the best. And rarely does anyone notice us.
Why are farmers underestimated? Maybe because the result of our work is not a PowerPoint presentation, but bread on a store shelf.
People only see the end product, and not 4 am, when you crawl in the rain to fix a broken fence so that the sheep don’t get away.
Is farming hard? Yes.
Dirty? Sometimes. 😊
But this is honest fatigue. Fatigue with meaning.
Now, can I ask you?
Have you ever wondered what it means to be a farmer?
Can you imagine what it's like to invest an entire year in something that can be destroyed overnight by hail?
Have you ever thanked those who grew the food on your plate?
I wonder - can you respect a woman who drives a tractor better than a car? Who appreciates the smell of manure because it means life? Who, instead of a manicure, holds a pruning shears, and instead of a party, watches a calf being born?
I'm not looking for the perfect man. I'm looking for someone who understands that farming is not a death sentence, but strength. It's courage.
It's resilience. It's real, earthly love - for life, for work, for people.💖💖
Now tell me - are you ready to be with a woman who grows life from scratch?
