Yoga is not just stretching or beautiful asanas from the internet. It is the art of being here and now, listening to your body and respecting its limits. Last week I spent my morning yoga practice in nature, in a park while the city was still asleep. The wind barely touched the trees, the sun was slowly rising, and everything around me seemed incredibly alive. With each breath I felt myself filling up with the energy of the day, with each exhalation I felt myself letting go of tension. Practicing outdoors gives a special feeling of freedom and presence. You literally merge with nature: you hear the birds singing, feel the coolness of the grass, and your movements become part of this world. Yoga teaches gentleness, patience and acceptance. Even 15 minutes on the mat can change your day. You become calmer, more confident, kinder - to yourself and to others. Yoga is not about body flexibility, it's about mindfulness. You just come, breathe, move - and come home, inside yourself.
