How to get your motivation back when you don't want anything
id: 10044019

We've all been there - when you don't feel like getting up in the morning, and even the most delicious cup of coffee doesn't save the day. There is no desire to start anything, move forward, or even just “be”. I call it “time inside the cloud” - when everything seems blurry and quiet.

I used to be angry at myself for these states. Now I'm learning to accept them as part of the process. After all, motivation is not a constant motor, but a wave. And to “catch it” again, I do a few simple things:

I stop putting pressure on myself. I give myself permission to rest without guilt. Sometimes that's the key to recovery.

I do the bare minimum. If the day seems overwhelming, I choose just one action. Something simple. Like making my bed or going outside for 10 minutes. It sets off a chain of activity.

I remind myself “why.” I reread my dreams, my goals, visualize the moment when I'll be at my best again. This brings back a sense of meaning.

I listen to inspiring people. Interviews, podcasts, books - when someone talks about their journey, it helps me not feel alone.

Looking for the beauty around me. Motivation often comes back from feelings, not from my head. A walk at sunset, music, the scent of a candle - it's all awakening.

The key is to be kind to yourself in these moments. Not to demand a fire where it is only smoldering now. But to give yourself silence and time. And at some point - you will feel something moving inside again. Coming back. Blossoming.
