In Ukraine, Krasnaya Gorka is not just a beautiful name.

On this day, people go to cemeteries to remember their loved ones.
But the atmosphere is not at all gloomy, on the contrary - everything is filled with bright memories, kind conversations and gratitude.

People bring Easter treats, painted eggs, Easter cakes.

Families gather together, share memories, smile, and sometimes even have small picnics right next to the graves.

It's very touching - as if your beloved relatives are together again, at one big family table. 💛

And Krasnaya Gorka is also a traditional wedding time!

It was believed that a marriage concluded on Krasnaya Gorka would be especially happy.

Girls and boys dressed up, sang funny songs, and in many villages they organized real folk festivities.
