🔮 the taste of waiting
id: 10056102

Waiting has its own taste.
It is neither sweet nor bitter. It is something quieter, more delicate — like the first sip of tea that is still too hot, or the coolness of the morning air before sunrise.

We often think of waiting as something passive. As a pause between two real moments. But what if waiting is also life?
A hidden part of the road that teaches patience, trust, and hope.😌

When you are waiting — for a letter, a call, a meeting, a change — you are actually alive in a very special way. You are listening more carefully. You are feeling more deeply. You notice small things: the way the light moves across the wall, how your heart slows down and speeds up with a single thought.🫀
Waiting sharpens the senses.

And it is not always easy.
Sometimes it tastes like longing, like a quiet ache inside the chest. But sometimes it tastes like dreaming — when you close your eyes and imagine what could be.

I am learning to treat waiting not as an emptiness, but as a preparation. A quiet, beautiful space where something important is already growing, even if I can't see it yet.

Maybe the real magic happens not when we get what we are waiting for — but in the way we change while we are waiting.
In the way we open our hearts wider.
In the way we learn to believe, even when there are no guarantees.💫

What about you?🌠💬
