✈️✈️I flew in to Catania - and immediately fell in love! 🇮🇹🇮🇹 You know when you just get out of the airport and the air is different? Warm, smelling of spices, sea and freedom.

Catania met me brightly: noisy, picturesque, a bit chaotic - and that makes it even more real. The first thing I did was sit down in a small cafe, order a granita with almonds and just watch the people.

Sicilians are so lively, emotional, all discussing something, gesticulating - I was in awe! Taormina is like a movie! The next day I went to Taormina... And it was love at first sight! These streets lined with cobblestones, small balconies covered with flowers, views of Etna - GOD! 😧😳

It feels like you are the heroine of a romantic movie. I walked around in a white dress, drank aperol on a terrace overlooking the sea, wrote in my diary and felt: I'm happy.Etna is a power that hypnotizes🪄🪄🪄 Yes, I ventured up the volcano! It was scary, but... incredibly beautiful. It's stark, almost Martian beauty - black lava, steam, wind. And then we stopped at a winery right at the foot of Etna, and I drank wine flavored with volcanic ash for the first time in my life. Does that sound weird? But it tastes divine! Food... I can't not talk about the food! 🍝🍝🇮🇹 Pasta with pistachio pesto in a small family restaurant... Arancini, which I ate right outside, sitting on the steps... The freshest seafood, capers, cheese... And, of course, cannoli! I found the best pastry shop in Syracuse (if you need anything, write me and I'll send you the address!).

The people. Their warmth. Their sincerity.😍 I became friends with a girl named Alessandra - she taught me how to dance the Sicilian tarantella! We laughed, danced under the stars, drank limoncello and talked about life... Moments like that are impossible to forget.

Sicily is not just an island. It's a mood. It's a story. It's passion. I left there different. Lighter. More feminine. More alive.And yes...
