When I was little, my mother often took me to the forest. We collected pine cones, made bouquets of leaves, and looked for mushrooms. It was always quiet there, only birds and our footsteps.
I remember the smell of pine needles, damp moss, and old trees. My mother always said: "The forest heals the soul, if you listen to it silently." Sometimes we would sit under a big oak tree and just be silent.
Now that I'm getting older, I really miss those moments. I want to just go to the forest again, without a phone, without noise. Just breathe in the fresh air and feel my heart beating peacefully.
The forest is my peace, my point of balance. I dream of living closer to nature someday. Because there you don't have to prove anything - just be.
