love doesn't work on a schedule.

We too often confuse intimacy with debt.
But love is not an electricity bill.
You can't write it out to someone with a note:
"Pay by Friday. Sincerely, your girl." πŸ˜„
I'm not a Tinder checklist
I'm not a set of features where you tick off:
— Can cook 🍝
— Understands jokes πŸ’
— Supports when you're sad 😒
— Doesn't make scenes 🎭
And then at the bottom in small print:
"If all the points match, I'm obliged to fall in love."
No way.
Love is not a deal. It is a feeling.
It either is or it is not.
And if not, I am not offended.
Do you know why?
Because I am not "beloved" - I am real
You don't have to love me.
But I am also not obliged to endure, wait, prove, deserve.
I am not a discount coupon for feelings.
I am a woman. A real one. With my own quirks, sparkle in my eyes, jokes in the style of "this is how I am" and a character like a wet cat.
And yes, maybe you did not love me.
But I love myself - and this is surprisingly enough not to get lost.
