On Monday, it seems like everything: life is empty, no one understands, everything is meaningless.
Tuesday is a freeze. It's like you're underwater, no words, no feelings, no sound.
And then Wednesday comes, and you accidentally hear an old song, someone makes a stupid joke, and you suddenly laugh. Just like that. First weakly, then louder, and then you can't stop.
Because when you're young and healthy, there's still a spring inside you that can straighten itself out.
You don't break completely. You crumple like paper, and then you smooth out and write a new line on yourself.
It doesn't make the pain go away. It doesn't make the suffering fake. It just reminds you:
Get through two days, and maybe you'll laugh again.
Also, don't be shy about talking about your feelings.
Sometimes Monday thoughts go away faster if you just don't sit with them alone.
