Meetings that leave a mark on the soul❤️

Not from shock, not from stress — but from that very bright sadness and inspiration that fills you from within.

I want to share with you one story that happened quite recently — in the hospital.

I was there on my own business — nothing serious, just a small check-up.

In the corridor, near the window, I saw a girl — about ten years old, thin, with huge eyes and light hair neatly gathered in pigtails.

She was sitting on the windowsill and drawing.

I couldn’t pass by.

I became interested in what exactly she was depicting — after all, she was so focused, like an adult artist at work.

We got to talking.

Her name is Anya.
She has been undergoing treatment for a long time, and drawing is a whole world for her.

She showed me her latest works with a smile - portraits of doctors, nurses, parents...

And one portrait of a girl who looked like her, but with big wings behind her back.

I could hardly hold back my tears.

I looked at her drawings - and I couldn't believe that all this was created by small hands.

There was something incredibly touching, deep in her works... Every line, every shadow - as if conveyed her feelings, her dreams, hopes, experiences. It felt like these portraits were breathing.

They were alive.

After this meeting, I couldn't stop thinking about Anya for a long time.

You know, I've always admired people who can draw. Unfortunately, I myself do not have such a talent.

Yes, I can appreciate beauty, feel the atmosphere of a picture...

But to pick up a pencil and draw a person - for me it is something from the realm of magic.

I once dreamed of learning how to...
But, apparently, each of us is endowed with our own gifts.

Sometimes you just want to touch someone else's talent, as if it could open up another, invisible world to you.

And how are you with drawing?
Have you ever held a brush in your hands not just for the sake of it, but to convey what's inside?
Maybe you can draw?
Or maybe you once dreamed of learning how to, but life took a different turn?

It seems to me that there is an artist living inside every person. It's just that not everyone realizes it.😂😂
