We are taught to be strong. Self-sufficient, independent, smart. We carry plans, budgets, families, and ourselves. But there is one thing that is not spoken about out loud: even a strong woman wants to be held. Not to give up, not to throw everything away, but simply to know that she is not alone.

Being strong does not mean not having the right to be weak. It means being able to hold on when it is difficult, but not denying yourself warmth when it is nearby. Support does not take away strength - it gives you breath. And in the strongest shoulders there is always room for a hug.
