How to stay motivated in hard times

𝗜𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗜 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳. 𝗜 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻.

I listen to what exactly hurts. Sadness? Disappointment? Tiredness from waiting?

I listen to myself as I would listen to a friend: without advice, without pressure. I am just here. And that is enough to survive the day.

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻... 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜 𝗱𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 "𝘆𝗲𝘀":

- yes, I will make coffee

- yes, I will go out for 10 minutes to get some fresh air

- yes, I will open my diary and write at least one sentence

- yes, I will look at myself not with criticism, but with warmth

Motivation does not come slamming doors. It comes in little things. In silence. In action. In being true to myself.

I don't motivate myself with big goals. I ignite myself with small rituals that give me a sense of control, presence, strength.
Sometimes it's just red lipstick. Sometimes it's music that makes something inside come alive. And then people. Not those who say "no", but those who can be silent next to me and just be.
