Moving always seems like the beginning of something new and magical. New streets, coffee shops, unknown parks, fresh air and a clean page - like in a movie. Everything was perfect in my expectations: I arrive, quickly find my favorite places, easily make acquaintances, and life picks up pace.
The reality turned out to be... not quite like that π
In the first few days, I felt like I had disappeared from the radar. No familiar faces, no favorite stores, even the intersections looked hostile. Finding the nearest supermarket became a quest with a GPS that constantly led me down some suspicious alleys π§
But it was the little things that started to change my mood. An old saleswoman at the market who remembered my name. The first minibus in which I didn't get lost. The hairdresser who accidentally gave me great advice about the local bakery π₯
Over time, I've learned that true adaptation isn't one big step, but a hundred little moments that make up a new reality. And it can be even better than the old one if you let it become yours.
