It happened in Berlin. I was flying home after a long business trip and was so tired that I accidentally walked through the staff door. No offense, I just didn't notice the sign 🙈

A staff member stopped me and started saying something in German. I stood there, blinking. My brain was already on the plane. I explained in broken English that I was lost. He sighed, led me back — and it seemed like he even sympathized with my appearance 😄

And then I accidentally sat at the wrong gate and waited for a flight that had already left long ago. It's good that I was "brought back to reality" again 😅

Since then, I always check the signs, inscriptions, numbers — and drink more coffee before the flight ☕️
