Reality without idealization: how i gave up expectations and it got easier

Once upon a time I expected fireworks from every meeting, success from every project, and perfection from myself. And then I didn't understand why I often felt so empty. Everything changed when I honestly asked myself: what if reality is already enough?

I stopped painting pictures in my head before I lived the moment. I stopped expecting people to guess, to understand, to show up. And in that, strangely enough, there's been a lot more freedom.

Now I'm observing. I live not by “should be”, but by “as it is”. And it's not about passivity, it's about acceptance. When you don't label things and don't try to squeeze the perfect result out of a situation, it suddenly becomes easier to breathe.
