Feminism is about freedom of choice. Want to build a career? Great. Want to be a mom on maternity leave? Great. It is important that every woman can live the way she wants, without societal pressure or imposed standards.

Feminism is also about men. Yes, that's right. Men also suffer from stereotypes: "men don't cry", "a real man should earn more than anyone else", "he should be strong and solve all problems". Feminism Day reminds us all: being yourself is everyone's right.

Today is a great day to think:

Do we support equality in our lives?

Do we judge people by their gender?

Do we tell our children that it is important to be kind and open, and not “real girls” or “boys”?

Feminism Day is about respect, support and love. And if at least one person begins to see in another not a “woman” or a “man”, but simply a person with his dreams, fears, interests and virtues - then we are already making the world a little better.
