When you can make coffee with one hand, text about work with the other, and mentally make a shopping list, you feel like a superhero. And then you lie down on the pillow and can't fall asleep, because... you have nowhere to put your fatigue.
I thought for a long time that balance is when you have time for everything. It turned out, no. Balance is when you know how to stop. When you choose not to do. When you admit that you are not an eternally working mechanism, but a living woman.
I made a rule for myself: every morning - 10 minutes without a phone, a cup of green tea, and no fuss. This is my ritual - like a starting point. Then I try to distribute my time according to the principle of "no more than three priorities per day." One for work. One for the soul. One for the body.
And yes, I have learned to refuse. Not to go where "I have to." Not to listen if it is not mine. Not to look at those who do more. I do my own.
And when in one day there is work, and laughter, and time to just lie in the bath with music - this is harmony. Not ideal. Mine.
