Warm silence after laughter

Not every silence is emptiness. There is silence after a fight - prickly and tense. There is forced silence, when you don't know what to say. And then there is that one, after laughter. When your cheeks are slightly pink, your stomach hurts from long merriment, and suddenly - everything freezes. The air becomes softer, even the light seems to be dimmed. And a moment of absolute peace comes.

In such moments, the body relaxes in a special way. Eyes do not run around in search of phrases, thoughts are in no hurry to break out. Just breathing that coincides. A shoulder accidentally pressed. The feeling that you do not need to prove, defend, explain anything. Everything is already happening as it should.

It seems to me that it is from such moments that true trust is sewn together. It is not in confessions or kisses. It is when a silence arises between two people in which there is no fear. And no one is in a hurry to break it.

You can look at the walls together. Or just drink tea. Or just be. And that is the whole point
