There are feelings for which no clear words have been invented. They are not required to be explained, do not require confirmation. They are simply constant. They enter the heart quietly, almost imperceptibly - and continue. I often think that this is exactly what the meeting of two souls thought, which recognized each other.

This is not about romance in the usual sense. This is not "he is perfect for me" or "we are so similar." This is deeper than the coincidence of tastes and views on life. It is as if someone invisible inside you suddenly hears: "Here you are." And then it became calmer.

You do not look at a person as a stranger. It is as if you remember him. You remember where he laughs, how he holds his cup, the timbre of his voice. You don’t know where it all comes from, but it sounds familiar. I felt it only a couple of times. But it’s impossible to forget.

In one of those moments, I realized: we are not just a body and faces, we are antennas. We feel other people not with logic, but with vibrations, smells, silence. One person can tell you the right things, but inside - it’s empty. And another is just silent next to you, and you already feel the warmth, like home.

One evening in a cafe. A small table, a cup of tea, a siren branch on the windowsill. He spoke too little. And I didn’t try to be interesting. I just breathed. And at that moment I noticed - I don’t want to leave. That’s it. What’s next to him doesn’t turn up the volume in me. I don’t want to open up, I don’t want to project. That was it - recognition. As if not for the first time.

It’s exactly these kinds of meetings that continue. Even if they won’t last forever. Even if after them there is emptiness and silence. They still become a part of you, because in them you come into contact with something that lives at the expense of additional words. There is no “should” or “right”. There is simply “was”.

I do not look for logic in these connections. It will not lead to anything anyway. But I believe that between people there can be something similar to a trace left by a sound that once sounded in unison. And it does not matter how long you were together. What is important is that you suddenly realized: you are not alone.

Sometimes I catch myself thinking: maybe these attractions are hints from something bigger? From the past? Or even from the future? Maybe it is me, whom we once knew very closely, and now we are simply finding again?

I have no answers. And, probably, they do not need to be looked for. The main thing is to be open. Do not try to grab the feeling with your hands, do not be afraid if it comes suddenly. Just be in it. And give yourself a sense of clarity.
