I’m sitting in my favorite café. In front of me — a cup of cappuccino, a few croissant crumbs, and dozens of people I don’t know. And that’s the beauty of it. 👀
There’s a woman in red heels, smiling at her book — maybe a romance, maybe planning a trip. Outside the window, a man with a dog — the pup is pulling him forward, and he looks completely happy. A silent couple holding hands. And a guy with a laptop, glancing at the waitress for the third time. 😄
Sometimes, I make up stories for all of them. Someone just fell in love. Someone is heartbroken. Someone just wants hot chocolate. And in the middle of all these stories, I wonder: what would mine look like? Who would be the one to come over and say, “Hi. What are you reading?”
Online dating is fun. But I still dream that one day, someone will sit across from me — and instead of asking for the Wi-Fi, they’ll ask for my name 😊
