Solitude in the crowd
id: 10056949

I have always loved walking alone. Not because I don’t want to be with someone, but because in solitude I hear what is usually lost in the noise and bustle. In a city full of people, cars and bright lights, solitude becomes something very valuable - time for yourself and your thoughts.

Today’s walk was exactly like that. I walked along the streets, where every house seemed to keep memories, where every corner tells its own story. The city breathed - quietly, but noticeably. I heard footsteps under my feet, the creak of a branch breaking through a crack in the asphalt, and even the whisper of leaves, which seemed like the whisper of an old friend.

I like these moments when you don’t need to talk. When you can just be - listen and feel. On such walks, I immerse myself in a special world where there is no fuss, no rush, there is only me and the city.

Sometimes it seems that the city also lives its own life, has its own secrets and desires, which it whispers only to those who know how to listen. I am learning this - to hear not with words, but with the heart.

At the end of the walk, I always return home with a feeling of lightness and inner peace. This is the feeling that you are not alone, that there is harmony around you, and that in this huge city there will always be a place for your soul.

It seems to me that the ability to find harmony in solitude is one of the most valuable in life. You do not depend on the mood of others, do not wait for confirmation, but simply live.

And so I sit at home, listen to the sounds of the street outside the window and understand: this city is my wordless friend, who is always there when I need to be myself.
