My recipe for inner warmth on difficult days 🌸
id: 10056120

There are days when the world seems a little colder than usual. It doesn't have to be something big or dramatic - sometimes just tiredness, silence in the room or a lack of hugs makes the day dull. In such moments, I learn to bring warmth back to myself. In small steps, gently, without demanding that I "get a grip", but on the contrary - by allowing myself to be alive.

My recipe is not universal, but real. I share it not as advice, but as an invitation to look into my inner world:

☕ A warm drink. It can be tea with ginger, coffee with cinnamon or just hot water with lemon. But the main thing is the moment when I hug the cup with my palms and feel its warmth. It's like touching myself.

📖 A book or movie that calms me. Not always about happiness. Sometimes about the courage to live on. Sometimes - a fairy tale where everything ends well. I don't run away in an illusion, I just give myself a break from reality to accept it again.

🎵 Music is like a whisper from the heart. I have a list of songs that are not sad, but deep. That don't make you cry, but allow you to feel. Because sometimes for inner warmth you need not to forget about the pain, but to let it be heard.

🌿 Allowing myself to be imperfect. This is the most important thing. I don't force myself to smile when I don't want to. But I also don't allow myself to stay in the dark for too long. Inner warmth is about accepting yourself, caring for yourself, and loving yourself, even when it hurts a little.
