How i fell in love with slow mornings ☀️
id: 10055679

If you asked me a year ago what my mornings looked like, I’d say: chaotic, noisy, and always in a hurry. I used to set three alarms just to force myself out of bed and then immediately jump into emails, news, and to-do lists. The result? By 9am, I already felt tired, anxious, and somehow behind.

Everything changed the day I allowed myself to spend one morning just… being. No rush, no guilt. I made coffee, sat by the window, and watched the city slowly wake up. The sky was turning from blue to pink, and for the first time in a long time, I felt at peace. That morning became a small ritual. Sometimes I write in my journal, sometimes I just listen to music. There’s always coffee, sometimes breakfast, often just silence. The most surprising part? I became more productive, not less. The calm of my mornings follows me throughout the day.

Now I believe that how you start your day is how you live your life. Slow mornings are my way of telling myself: you matter, and there’s no need to hurry through your own existence. Maybe you’d like to try it too?
