Somewhere in a drawer I still have a watch strap from my ex, a perfume I used a couple of times “for special occasions”, an old lighter - although I don’t even smoke. All this is a museum of the past, open 24/7, but without visitors.
Women's logic in such things works like a safe without a code. Something is not thrown away because it once evoked emotions. Or it just lies there beautifully. Or it has been lying there for a long time - which means it’s a pity to throw it away.
Men look at this as chaos 😅, but we have order in this. Only sometimes it starts to interfere with breathing. Junk in a drawer is junk in your head. And in relationships too. While you hold on to the unnecessary, there is no room for the present.
Sometimes you need to throw away not only an old postcard, but also an old thought, feeling, expectation. To feel free 🕊️. And so that there would be room in the drawers of life for new, real stories.
