Is it just me, or do traffic jams unlock a weird part of your brain? One moment you're listening to the radio, and five minutes later you're wondering if you made the right life choices while staring at someone’s bumper sticker that says “LIVE LAUGH LOVE.” 😅
This morning was classic. Stuck behind a white SUV that kept tapping its brakes like Morse code. The guy in the next lane was singing full-volume like he was on The Voice. And me? I was rethinking my entire week because Google Maps added 14 minutes to my route. 🚦
I tried the usual tricks — changed the playlist, opened the window, even counted red cars like some kind of meditation. Nothing worked. I still ended up late, mildly annoyed, and questioning why people change lanes every five seconds for zero gain. 😤
But somewhere between frustration and boredom, I noticed the sky. It was doing that soft early morning thing — pale blue with streaks of light, quiet and kind of poetic. And suddenly, everything felt a little less terrible. The song on the radio changed. My breath slowed. I remembered I’m still moving. Even if it’s 3 km/h.
So yeah. Traffic jams are the worst. But maybe they also remind us to slow down — mentally, not just on the road. 🚗🌥️
