Sometimes it's enough to just take off your shoes. Step out of your image. Take a deep breath and allow yourself to just be. Not pretty. Not strong. Not right. But yourself.
Filming days, cameras, dresses, makeup, walking in heels - all this is part of my life. I love it. But most of all I love the moment when I come home, open the window, take off my shoes and touch the cold floor with my bare feet.
Then something switches in me. I'm no longer a picture. I'm a woman. Alive. Tired, sometimes sad, sometimes inspired. A woman who can laugh at herself in the kitchen, hum in the bathroom, lie on the sofa with a book or be silent for hours, wrapped in a blanket.
These moments of simplicity are the most honest. They have no audience. There are no productions. There is only me. And in these little things I find myself.
Because true freedom is not about running away, but about allowing yourself to be alive even in the little things.
