🏋️‍♀️ non-competitive sports: when movement becomes self-care
id: 10056120

I had to change my attitude towards sports. I used to chase results: bigger, faster, slimmer. I used my body as if it were an instrument that had to work at its maximum. I got angry if something didn’t work out, if there was no progress, if the mirror didn’t reflect the “ideal”.

And then… I got tired. And I started to listen. Not to demand, but to observe. Not to punish, but to support.

Now my workouts look different. Sometimes it’s slow stretching to barely audible music. Sometimes it’s dynamic cardio when I have a lot of energy. And sometimes it’s just a simple walk with deep breathing.

I don’t train for the sake of the outside. I train because I want to thank my body for enduring, for living, for breathing. This is a time of silence.

Sport is no longer about form. It’s about feeling strong inside. About trusting yourself. About union, not struggle 💛
