So, I'm sitting here, drinking tea, just listening in the background - and suddenly I hear: in the human body, only 43% of the cells are actually "ours"... and the remaining 57% are bacteria, viruses, fungi and other creatures with which we live in symbiosis! π€―
And then I froze. That is... I'm not really "me"?
Or am I not just me? π
It turns out that we walk around so beautiful, put on perfume, take care of ourselves, and inside us there is a whole biological metropolis raging, like in science fiction films: someone is fighting viruses, someone is digesting pizza, someone is just hanging out in the intestines and not bothering anyone π
And what's most interesting is that without all these "passengers" we would not survive at all.
They help us think, feel, even... fall in love. Really!
Scientists say that microflora affects hormones, mood, even behavior. So if I ever go crazy with love - you can blame not only my heart, but also bacteria π
I love such films - after them you start to look at yourself completely differently.
And at other people too.
Everything seems deeper, more interesting...
And I immediately want to share this with someone who also knows how to be surprised and laugh together.
Or at least won't run away after the phrase "let's talk about germs" π
Did you know about this? π
And tell me honestly - do you like watching such weird-smart movies?
Or do you have your own style - explosions, spies and a little romance?π§¬π
