When I first tried mocha, it was something intriguing - like morning coffee met dessert. 🍫 I don’t have a coffee machine, but this even adds freedom. I started with the classics: espresso, chocolate, milk. But gradually my mocha became an experiment. 🔬
One evening, I decided to replace chocolate with cocoa with cinnamon and a pinch of ground cardamom. 🌿 The mood instantly became more cozy and mysterious. I wanted to make not just a drink, but a state: warmth, smoothness, sweetness and a slight spiciness. ✨
The process: I pour hot milk (usually oat milk - radio-fertilized and tender), add a full tablespoon of cocoa, a pinch of cinnamon, a drop of vanilla extract, a little cardamom. 🥄 I mix everything well and finally add some espresso brewed at home. A spoon - and a wave of aroma in the cup. 🌊
Inhale... and immediately the mood changes. 💆♀️ I like to make this in the evening: when you try not to turn on the light, sit in the kitchen and feel how the worries of the day dissolve along with the drink. ☁️ Such moments remind: happiness is not necessarily loud, it is often quiet, in small rituals. 🤫
And you know, even if the vessel is not perfect - the taste and the moment are important. 🏺 Now I have a mini-collection of recipes: chocolate-lentil mocha, citrus-ginger, with coconut milk and marshmallows... but there is always this one - with cardamom and cinnamon. It warms deeper than just a drink. ❤️🔥
Sometimes I make a double portion and drink it on the balcony under the stars. 🌠 Moments without rushing. The next day becomes easier. It's not just coffee - it's my evening ritual, my way of saying "I live and hear myself." 💫
