Morning with a lavender leaf and mood ☀️🌿
id: 10047282

A morning that became special.
I woke up from the fact that the sun was touching the curtain most gently - as if the sun itself decided to compliment me. 🌞 The room smelled of morning air, coolness. And suddenly I realized: in the cup from yesterday evening there was only a leaf of dried lavender left. The usual beginning of the day turned into a performance for the senses. 🎭

I poured hot water, dipped that almost forgotten leaf into it — and the aroma rose so much that I even took a deeper breath and closed my eyes. 🫖💜 At that moment, the thought came to me that people are usually woken up by news on their phones. And today I was given the gift of a meeting with myself — through the aroma that I knew in the village, when I helped my grandmother collect lavender near the old linden fence.

For some reason, I immediately wanted to write down this feeling. I sat down on the softest corner of the sofa, hugged the pillow, closed the laptop and took out a notepad. 📝 I wrote down the first words that came:

…Morning speaks the language of aromas.
Where the purple breath of a flower is, you begin to breathe deeper.
Tea is not just tea. It is a ticket to memory.

A cup of tea magic with lavender showed how little is needed for a day to be memorable.
I thought: since the morning turned out to be unusual, why not share this little recipe for magic? It turned out to be a kind of “lavender ritual” that can be repeated every morning - if you want to start the day not just with coffee, but with a feeling:

🌱 Throw 1 tsp of dried lavender + 1 tsp of black or green tea (whatever is closer to you) into a teapot (or filter cup).

💧 Pour 200 ml of slightly boiling water (approximately 90 °C - if you are an expert, use a thermometer).

⏳ Let it brew for 4-5 minutes, covering with a lid or saucer.

🍯 If it is sweet, add a little honey or a couple of drops of lemon juice.

☕️ Enjoy a corner of warmth, sitting quietly and not thinking about your smartphone for at least 5 minutes.

It seems to me that such a ritual is almost like strong coffee to go. But not in a hurry. And I feel: every drop can be lived.

Why am I writing about this?
Because it seems to me that many have forgotten that the best gifts begin with paying attention to yourself. 💝 The ability to stop, breathe - and say to yourself: "I am here." Tired of thinking about a thousand things at once? I was tired too. But in the morning I made a choice: to be close to myself. With the aroma of lavender and tea - and suddenly it dawned on me: how I wish people would return to themselves just as easily. Imagine how much running around - and only 5 minutes to reconfigure your inner world.
