I love watching the city wake up. When the sun rises and turns the walls of old houses golden, I realize that this world is much deeper than it seems. I like to see the contrasts: calm deserts next to noisy streets, the calmness of the sea next to ancient mosques.
People are another source of my ideas. Egyptians are very open, sincere and warm. Their emotions, habits, clothes, even gestures fill my works with life. I often paint portraits of random passers-by because it is in their eyes that I see something real and close.
But what inspires me the most is color. The light here is different - it seems to emphasize every shade. When I pick up a brush, I want to convey this warmth, calmness and power of nature.
If you've ever wondered where art comes from, I can tell you one thing: it is born where the heart feels joy. For me, this joy is here now - among the sun, sand and memories that I put into my paintings.
Thank you for reading my thoughts. Maybe one day I will be able to share these colors with you live. 🌿
