Would you trust a car with no driver?

The idea of sitting in a car… that drives itself… sounds like something from a sci-fi movie, right? šŸ¤– But here we are. Self-driving cars already exist. They stop at red lights, change lanes, park better than I ever could šŸ˜… and some people actually use them daily.
Part of me is amazed. Imagine: I could sit back, sip my coffee, answer messages, or just stare out the window while the car does the work. No stress, no traffic fights, no GPS yelling at me, ā€œTurn left now!ā€ šŸ˜„
But the other part of me feels… uncomfortable. I mean, how do I trust a machine more than I trust myself? What if it glitches? What if it doesn’t "feel" danger the way I do?
Driving is not just about getting from point A to B. It’s about freedom. Control. That little joy of pressing the pedal, choosing your own path. Can a robot ever understand that?
Still, I wonder… Maybe the day will come when I’ll just sit in a car, say, ā€œTake me to the sea,ā€ and it’ll take me there — no hands, no stress, just the road and silence.
Would you try that? Or do you prefer to keep your hands on the wheel — literally and in life? 😊
