And I caught myself thinking how much the very essence of photography has changed...
We used to take pictures to save the moment,
And now more often to please others π
We do hundreds of takes, filters, retouching, remove the "ugly" angle, hide reality.
Sometimes it seems like we no longer live, but play roles. For likes, approval, the desired impression. And at the same time... we lose ourselves.
π· And in old pictures I am different.
Funny, disheveled, in a stupid T-shirt, but so happy...
Nobody was waiting for the perfect shot there, just someone said: "Look here!" and click.
I often imagine how one day someone will look at my photos - not in a social media feed, but in an old album, with the smell of time, with corners worn from fingers.
And smile.π
Because they are not just a girl. But a real feeling. The real me.
And you... when was the last time you looked at a photo and felt, and not just scrolled through?
π¬ Tell me... Do you like taking pictures or being taken more?
And what photos remain in your heart?
