How much longer?

Nobody knows the answer. Not even those who started this war.
The war in Ukraine has been going on for more than two years in its active phase, and in fact - since 2014. It has taken tens of thousands of lives, destroyed cities, destinies, divided families and for generations has been writing pain into the DNA of the Ukrainian people.

Every day is someone's last minute. Every day is someone's prayer for salvation. And yes, every day is hope.

Are there any prospects for an end?
Yes, but not quick and not easy.

The prospect of peace depends not only on Ukraine. It depends on:

political will of world leaders,

the internal situation in Russia,

economic pressure,

military successes of Ukraine,

and - as hard as it is to admit - on the fatigue of the world.

Yes, support is important. But the world is cynical. At some point, people's attention gets tired, switches to other conflicts, disasters, elections, shows. And here persistence is important - not to let the world forget what Ukraine is fighting for.

Is peace possible?

Yes. But not at any cost.

Peace does not mean capitulation. Peace is not "just stop shooting." It is the return of borders, people, justice, and most importantly - dignity. Without this, any "negotiations" are just a delay of new aggression.

What should ordinary people do?

Do not lose humanity.

Help those who are nearby.

Do not close your eyes to pain and do not pretend that everything is fine.

Speak, write, remind, pray - as best you can.

And believe. Because it is faith that keeps Ukraine on its feet, despite all the losses and destruction.

And yet... how much longer?

It is unknown. But Ukraine has already proven: it will not break.
And that means the end will definitely come. Not when the Kremlin wants it. But when truth and fortitude overcome fear and lies.

And on that day - even if not soon - the sky will become peaceful again, and silence will sound over the country, in which there will be tears, hugs and the beginning of a new life.
