For some reason, we all try to look like the heroes of an ideal movie in the eyes of others, although in reality we often go home in pajamas with a box of pizza and our favorite TV series. No one is perfect - and that's the beauty of it. But for some reason, everyone wants to seem a little more collected than we really are.
The funniest thing is when you begin to understand that absolutely all of us are a little strange. Someone calls their hobby "searching for the meaning of life in the refrigerator", someone collects cacti, and someone masterfully masters the art of falling asleep during any meeting. But what if it is in these oddities that our real strength lies? In the ability to not be afraid to be yourself.
Humor is what really helps not to lose your head. If someone can make me laugh, I'm already halfway to trusting them. You don't need pompous words or deep confessions, sometimes a funny joke or a funny story is enough. Although, to be honest, I'm not against poems about dumplings - that's also cool.
When you communicate with someone, it's important to remember - on the other side of the screen (or just in life) sits a real person with his cockroaches, oddities and sometimes very unusual reactions. I once tried to explain that a "spontaneous trip to the store" is not a trip with a clear plan, but just running out for bread in pajamas. It seems that I was not quite understood then. But now I know for sure that honesty is the key to a good mood.
Sometimes you want to tell yourself: "Do everything your way and don't worry about it." Because life is too complicated to add stress to it. The main thing is to be able to smile, laugh and accept yourself with all the funny and not so funny moments.
If today you suddenly wonder who is normal among all these people - remember that normal is the one who knows how to laugh at himself and is not afraid to show that he is just a person. And that pajamas are not only clothes for home, but also a state of mind.
This is my simple philosophy. After all, laughter is really what prolongs life. Or, at least, makes it a little more fun.
