This is a completely different mood than rainy evenings. There is less silence here, but more life. The sun seems to invite you to rejoice for no reason at all. To close your eyes from the bright light. To say something frivolous. And dream about something simple, a cool drink, a trip, a vacation on the river or by the pool.

I think about how nice it would be to have someone by my side on these hot days. To hide under a tree together. To share an ice cream. Joking that the heat makes your heart beat faster, although it's not really the heat, it's your presence. Summer teaches you to be a little lighter. To let go of unnecessary things. And to allow yourself to be happy.

And if we were together now, would you invite me to go to the beach, or would you make me hide under the air conditioner and watch movies holding hands?
