Sometimes men wonder why women don’t rush to go on a first date with everyone who says “Hi.” And I’ll tell you without reproach, just as it is.
One day, I actually went on a date… but not with a man. I took my notepad 📖, a pen, some warmth in a thermos and went to where I felt good. There was a table by the window, a blanket, light jazz, and the feeling that I was with the most important person in my life myself.
And you know, it was one of the most honest dates in my life. Because no one pretended to be “interested,” no one scanned my cleavage and asked “why are you so beautiful and alone?” 🙃 I was just myself. Without roles, without the need to impress anyone. I wrote. Myself. The real me. No masks.
This notebook is not a defense against the world. It is a reminder: not every woman wants to be caught like a fish on bait 🎣. Some of us are the ocean 🌊. Where you enter not with a question, but with respect.
And if you are a man who came not to catch, but to dive - with open eyes and without fear then perhaps the next sheet in my notebook will be about you ✍️.
And if not - I know my worth even without dates 💎. We simply no longer agree to "just to be there." We grow out of it. We choose not the first hand that reaches out - but the one that is not afraid of our depth.
