There was a day when everything felt a little off. Nothing terrible had happened, but inside - there was noise. So I did the one thing that always helps: I started cleaning.

But not to make it look perfect - I cleaned to bring myself into order.

I started in the kitchen. Wiped the stove, dusted off the little tea jars, opened the window - fresh air flooded in. Then I moved to the wardrobe. Sorted out my summer clothes and set some aside to give away. Unexpectedly, I found an old embroidered blouse I’d been searching for since spring.

I put on music - some Lo-Fi and soft French jazz. There was dust on the floor, a rag in my hand, but finally - silence in my mind. For the first time in days.

By evening, I had repotted my plants, lit some candles, even put up that shelf I’d been ignoring since March.

Then came a warm shower, fresh sheets, mint tea.
I sat on the couch, looked around, and thought: it’s not just the apartment - I feel like I’ve cleaned my inner space.

Sometimes, to feel alive again, you don’t need drastic changes.
Just a towel, a bucket of water, and the will to start somewhere.
