Inner space
id: 10056640

Not long ago, I spent an entire evening in complete silence. No phone. No music. Just me, my apartment, and the slow July night sinking behind the windows.

And honestly, it was one of the most powerful experiences of the past few weeks.

I sat on the floor, wrapped in a blanket.
At first, my thoughts rushed in, begging for distraction - "just check this", "quick scroll".
But I stayed still.

After 30 minutes, I started noticing things I hadn’t seen in months: the shape of a lamp’s shadow, the quiet creak of a chair, the smell of an old book on my windowsill.

This was my inner space.
No pressure to be smart or pretty or productive.
Just me - honest, present, home.

Now I sometimes gift myself these silent evenings. Not as a challenge, but as a reward. For showing up. For being kind to myself.

And you know what? That simple quiet - it shifts something.
Deeply, gently.
