It all started super chill. My friend and I planned a normal evening - just walk around, maybe grab a drink, nothing fancy. But an hour before we meet, she texts me: “There’s a lit party tonight 🔥 let’s gooo!”
I’m not into random parties, but I thought - fine, I trust her, maybe I need a little fun. Big mistake.
We show up to this sketchy underground place… like, literally a basement in some industrial zone 😅. Loud music, smoke everywhere, strangers all around, and I already feel like this ain’t it. I ask her, “Are you sure this is safe?” and she’s like, “Relax, it’s all good 😎”.
20 minutes in - I hear a group of guys whispering. One looks straight at me and says, “That one’s mine tonight.” EXCUSE ME?! 😳 Full body chills.
I turned to her and said, “We’re leaving. Now.”
She started getting all dramatic like “You’re always so uptight, live a little 🙄”. But nope - I wasn’t staying. I walked out. Alone.
A few hours later… she texts me. “You were right. Those guys got super creepy. I barely got out.”
And that’s when it hit me:
Even people close to you can put you in dumb situations - not because they’re bad, but because they don’t think. And your gut?
ALWAYS trust it. It literally saved me that night. 🙏💯
