If someone looked into my bathroom, they would think: "This girl has clearly collected half a drugstore and a couple of beauty stores." And they wouldn't be wrong. I love to try everything: masks, serums, oils, scrubs. But over the years, I realized that not everything that looks beautiful in a photo saves my skin.
The first thing I can't live without is a moisturizing cream with ceramides. I'm not a fan of expensive jars with gold caps. My favorite is a modest tube from a drugstore. I apply it morning and evening, and my skin literally whispers "thank you."
My favorite mask is clay, with charcoal and green tea. I adore it because it really tightens pores and refreshes. The downside is that you have to rinse it off carefully, otherwise the whole sink will be as black as a coal mine.
When I want to pamper myself, I take out the vanilla body oil. After the shower, it lays down in a thin film, and it seems like I'm a dessert. Although sometimes I think: isn't it too tempting for just me?
From what disappointed me: a trendy toner with acids. Everyone around squealed with delight, but my skin decided to say "no" and got spots. Conclusion? Not everything that's trendy will suit everyone.
I'm learning to listen to my face. Sounds funny? But it's true - before I smeared everything in sight, and now I look: "What do you need today? More hydration? A little nutrition? Or just relax without anything?"
In the end, care is a small ritual of self-love. Not for photos. So that in the morning you can meet your reflection and smile.
