How to have a date at home: candles, a playlist and dinner
id: 10056672

You don't always need restaurants with reservations a week in advance and waiters in gloves. Sometimes the best date lives where you choose the music yourself and know where the warm socks are.

I like to prepare dates at home. It all starts not with the menu, but with the mood. I turn on a light lamp in the kitchen and a quiet playlist. There are no loud songs in it, only something that sounds like laughter into a pillow.

Next - candles. Lots of them. Different heights, colors, smells. I love it when there is not one candle burning in the room on the table, but five on the windowsill and one in the hallway. Let this evening begin with soft light.

The menu is not complicated. Even pasta with tomatoes - if you arrange it beautifully on a plate and sprinkle with parmesan - it is already a date. A glass of wine, fruit in a bowl. The main thing is not to cook anything heavy and not to think about diets.

A blanket on the sofa, soft pillows, your favorite TV series on pause. Let it play in the background. Let the conversation be interrupted by laughter and food. Sometimes I like to get up barefoot and go for more - I like the feeling of the kitchen at night.

The best date at home is not the perfect table. It is when you can be in an old T-shirt and still feel the most beautiful. When the candles burn out slowly, and the music whispers that you can stay here longer.
