I used to think that changes in life come through global decisions: moving, a new job, romantic twists. But it turned out differently. I was saved by... a cup of coffee.
It started when everything was falling apart: a bunch of things to do, endless thoughts, endless "musts". One day I stopped. I just made coffee, sat in the kitchen and allowed myself five minutes of silence. No phone. No noise. No plans. And it was in this silence that I heard myself for the first time in a long time.
Since then, my morning begins the same way: silence, coffee, window. Sometimes I think that this is the most valuable date in my life - a meeting with myself.
Now I am learning to see the meaning in small things. A new book on the shelf. Favorite earrings on a weekday. Fruits at the market, picked slowly. I don’t want dramas anymore. I’m learning to live in a rhythm where the heart doesn’t rush, but simply beats. And you know what? It’s not about loneliness. It’s about depth. And depth always attracts.
