Summer habits that will make your days brighter
id: 10057169

There are habits that we develop consciously — sports, nutrition, routine. But in the summer you want something different. Not “correct,” but alive. So that your heart skips a beat, so that the day is not like the previous one, so that you can smile for no reason.

Here are a few habits that I have made part of my warm days.

Start the morning barefoot on the balcony. With a cup of coffee or just like that. Catch the first rays on your shoulders. Listen to the city waking up.

Drink water with mint and lime. It would seem like a small thing. But it not only refreshes the body, but also seems to clear your thoughts.

Do small photo sessions for yourself. For no reason. In a dress, in a swimsuit, with disheveled hair. This is not about social networks — it is about memory.

Buy flowers for yourself. Even just one branch. Wildflowers, hydrangeas, peonies. Put them in a tall glass and feel like you're at home, like in a magazine.

Light candles in the evening. Not because it's romantic, but because the soft light makes the evening cozy even after a chaotic day.

Say "yes" to some spontaneous ideas. Eat ice cream at night. Run in the rain. Call an old friend.

Summer is not eternal. But it can live in us longer if we let it in a little deeper. In gestures, smells, sensations.
