When were you at the theatre? 🎭
id: 10056347

It seems that we have somehow forgotten about theatres. But there is a completely different magic there. It’s not just a stage, it’s the living breath of the actors, their trembling voices, beads of sweat from the tension and enthusiastic applause when the audience freezes at the end. There you can really feel the story, live it together with the characters, and not just watch it on the screen. When I was little, my mother took me to the theatre. I always put on the most beautiful dress, as if I was going on stage myself. Then everything seemed like a fairy tale: shiny chandeliers, the smell of dust and wings, the orchestral music that gives you goosebumps. And now we run, hurry, watch TV series on our phones and forget that there is another art, real, real here and now.
I want to go there again. To a performance. Without a phone. Without fuss. Just sit in the dark, and let your heart beat in time with the actors' performance.
And you? When was the last time you sat in the theater, holding your breath? Which performance amazed you? Or maybe you are just getting ready to go but keep putting it off?
Share your thoughts with me. I'm really interested ❤️
