10 signs that a vacation is urgently needed

And that's where the first bells start ringing: you just want to lie back down and forget about everything for the whole day. I want to lie like a guinea pig in front of a fan that seems to have decided to take a day off too, no cool breeze, just a painful hum.

Coffee, which used to be a savior and invigorating elixir, is now turning into a lifeless liquid, and ice cream is becoming the most faithful friend. My daily movements are limited to the bed—refrigerator—sofa route, and this is more of a marathon than a walk.

The phone is lying next to me, but it's getting harder to look at it. Memes are not funny, news is annoying, and thoughts in my head constantly revolve around one thing — how I want to plunge into cool water, forget about everything and just swim.

Work turns into a test of survival. The brain seems to be turned on, but there is no sense — only the eyes are open. Even your favorite songs, which used to be energizing, now seem to be just the backdrop for a zombie series.

Trying to wear a summer dress turns into a comedy: everything sticks, squeezes, or just doesn't fit. And then dreams of long walks by the sea and a carefree vacation under an umbrella become an obsession that you can not get rid of.

At such moments, the only thing that saves is the thought of a vacation. A real one, with a cool pool, juicy ice cream and a complete disconnect from the Internet. After all, sometimes the best vacation is just to allow yourself to do nothing and not think about anything.

That's how I understand it: it's time to run to the beach.

I wonder if anyone likes swimming as much as I do?
