12 days of trump: what is he promising putin and how could it end?
id: 10044460

But here is the main phrase that shocked everyone:
"I will give Putin 12 days. In that time, he will get what he wants - or nothing at all."

What does this mean? What are these 12 days? And what will happen if Putin does not get "what he wants"?

📌 What is "12 days of Trump"?
This is an ultimatum issued by Trump not so much to Putin as to Kyiv and US allies. He made it clear:

"I am negotiating with Putin. You have 12 days to not interfere. Then the decision will be made without you."

In essence, Trump is conducting a "peace blitz" - pressure under which Ukraine must accept conditions that, according to unconfirmed leaks, include:

refusal to join NATO;

recognition of de facto control of the Russian Federation over part of the territories;

consolidation of a "new balance of power" in Europe.

⚠️ Why is 12 days dangerous?

This is an ultimatum in the spirit of blackmail.

The world is not built in 12 days - especially not on the terms of a dictator. Trump sets a deadline, without revealing the details, but making it clear: "Either the good way - or Putin will go further."

Ukraine is deprived of the right to vote.
Kyiv is not invited to the negotiating table on an equal footing. This is no longer an alliance, but a dictate.

This is a gift to Putin.

He hasn't lost the war - but he's already getting negotiations on his terms, as if he holds the trump card. This could be a signal to other authoritarian leaders: "Aggression works."

🤯 And if Putin doesn't get what he wants?
This is where things get especially worrisome. If 12 days pass and Putin doesn't get his "way out," Trump could:

declare that "Putin was ready for peace, but Kyiv got in the way";

stop supporting Ukraine, including arms and intelligence supplies;

recognize some of the occupied territories as "disputed," paving the way for their "freezing" for decades;

drop sanctions and begin a rapprochement with Moscow, supposedly "in the name of stability."

And Putin? He'll realize that the US is broken, and he'll move on. Maybe to Odessa. Maybe to Kharkov. Maybe to Moldova.

🧠 What is this really: peace or capitulation?

12 days of Trump is not peace. It is a negotiated capitulation under pressure.
This is what deals look like when weakness is called "realism" and withdrawal of support is called "peacekeeping".

History shows that appeasing an aggressor does not bring peace. It brings a respite - before a new war.

🔚 Conclusion

Trump plays diplomacy like a real estate deal: tough, fast, without sentimentality. But Ukraine is not a building in Manhattan. It is a living country where people die every day.

12 days is too little for peace, but more than enough for betrayal.
