I don’t remember the exact day when I picked up a camera. But I remember the first shot that I wanted to save. It was evening, and the light was falling as if someone had specially placed the lamps. I pressed the button and thought - this is the feeling when you want to hold on to the moment so that it doesn’t disappear.
At first, I shot everything. Flowers, windows, people at bus stops. I didn’t even think about what it looked like - I just wanted to catch it. Then I began to notice that each photo has a mood. Sometimes it’s bright, sometimes a little sad.
Photography became a way for me to slow down. When you look through the lens, you suddenly realize that the world is full of details that you don’t notice in a hurry. A leaf that fell on the step. Someone else's hand, carefully holding a cup.
I never thought that it would become a part of me. But now I can't just pass by a beautiful light or an interesting face. I know that this moment has its own story, and I want to preserve it.
Maybe one day I'll put all these pictures in one album. But for now I like to just collect them, like little pieces of life.
